Always a privilege to be part of NYCxDESIGN, this May 2026, Studio Ejarque participated in One Night Stand: What We Bring to Bed, a group exhibition presented by the American Design Club exploring contemporary perspectives on intimacy, rest, and domestic space.
This marks the third consecutive year our studio has been part of NYCxDESIGN, continuing an ongoing dialogue with the city’s international design community through exhibitions and collaborative projects presented during the festival.
On this occasion, we presented the Forest Nightstand, a piece inspired by the atmosphere of twilight in the woods — the fleeting moment when light filters through the trees and shadows gradually merge with the landscape. Conceived as an object that evokes shelter and quiet presence, the project reflects on the bedside as a deeply personal space shaped by closeness, ritual, and rest.
Presented in New York as part of the official festival program, the exhibition brought together an international selection of designers and studios working across furniture, objects, and experimental design practices, offering multiple interpretations of the emotional and symbolic dimensions of the bedroom environment.
